Job Description

Adept are working with a leading global provider of specialized metal products and supply chain solutions primarily serving the oil and gas industry. They are seeking a Production Planner Administrator to join their team.

As a Production Planner Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operations of our manufacturing processes.

Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, this role offers the opportunity to grow within the company and become a competent production planner.

Job Responsibilities

  • Compiling and issuing comprehensive shop floor works order packs, encompassing routing, drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), and specifications.

  • Receiving training in the utilization of the company's ERP system to effectively manage production data and processes.

  • Participating in dedicated training to become proficient in production planning, aligning with our goal of nurturing skilled production planners.

  • Timely issuance of shop floor order work packs in accordance with established company procedures and customer specifications.

  • Active involvement in departmental improvements, continuously enhancing processes to meet evolving business needs.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in administration within an engineering/manufacturing setting, providing you with insights into the industry's intricacies.

  • Proficiency with PC usage, particularly in Windows products.

  • Basic knowledge of computer databases, specifically ERP systems, and familiarity with manufacturing processes, providing a strong foundation for the role.

  • Eagerness to learn and progress within the company, with the aspiration to eventually become a proficient production planner.
