Adept Engineering are in partnership with, and recruiting for a Strategic Sales Intelligence Manager to Join a pioneering company in the steel production and engineering sector. As part of a significant growth and modernization phase following recent changes, they are enhancing their role as a critical supplier to key industries. This presents exciting opportunities as they modernise their plant and equipment over the next decade.
This is a crucial role, working within the Sales & strategic development team, being heavily involved in making data-driven decisions by proving intelligence on target markets, competitor information, and pricing analysis. This role takes a prominent position in developing the overall strategic marketing plan for our client.
Job Responsibilities
Work with the team in refreshing the strategic sales & marketing plan.
Gather and share relevant market intelligence information.
Identify sales growth opportunities.
Develop competitor profiles and assess their prices and offerings.
Identify and validate growth opportunities.
Develop business cases for sales growth and investment, where required.
Assist in marketing activities, including exhibitions, branding and social media.
Produce sales and business reports, with relevant statistics and data, developing KPI’s and market metrics where appropriate.
Skills + Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Management, Marketing or other related field.
Excellent data analysis skills, using excel spreadsheets and pivot tables to synthesise data.
Ability to summarise and concisely convey critical data to others in the business, through report writing and presentations.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, CRMs and other technical software.
Ability to build quality relationships within cross-functional teams.
